FAQs

Learn about the range of buildings we can clean with precision drone technology

What is drone exterior cleaning?

Drone exterior cleaning uses state-of-the-art unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to wash building exteriors, roofs, solar panels, and more. Unlike traditional pressure washing, drones can safely reach high or hard-to-access areas without scaffolding, ladders, or lifts.

How does drone cleaning compare to traditional pressure washing?

Drone cleaning is safer, faster, and more cost-effective. It reduces the need for scaffolding or rope access, minimizes liability risks, and allows for precise, controlled cleaning using soft-wash or low-pressure methods ideal for delicate surfaces.

Is drone cleaning safe for buildings and people?

Yes. At Drone Pro, all of our pilots are FAA-certified and trained in safety-first protocols. We use Lucid drone systems engineered specifically for exterior cleaning, and we follow strict guidelines to protect both property and people during operations.

What kind of cleaning agents do you use?

We use eco-friendly, biodegradable soft-wash cleaning solutions tailored to your building’s surface. These solutions effectively remove mold, mildew, dirt, algae, and stains without damaging siding, windows, or roofing materials.

Can you clean buildings in urban or high-traffic areas?

Yes. Our team performs detailed site assessments and uses perimeter safety zones when operating in downtown or pedestrian-heavy areas. Because drones are less disruptive than scaffolding, we’re ideal for urban environments.

What types of commercial buildings do you service?

We clean a wide range of commercial and institutional properties, including:

  • Office towers & high-rises
  • Hotels & resorts
  • Hospitals & medical facilities
  • Schools & universities
  • Churches & places of worship
  • Government & municipal buildings
  • Retail centers & shopping malls
  • Industrial facilities & warehouses
How high can your drones clean?

Our Lucid drone systems can clean buildings up to 400’ in most cases and 400’+ with approval from ATC , depending on the site conditions. For taller structures, we may deploy specialized configurations or combine with ground-based support for comprehensive coverage.

Do you offer recurring or scheduled commercial cleaning plans?

Absolutely. We offer customized maintenance programs that include quarterly, semi-annual, or annual cleaning — helping you preserve property value and maintain curb appeal all year long.

Do you provide documentation for facility management or compliance?

Yes. Every commercial project includes:

  • Before/after photo documentation
  • Surface condition reporting
  • Chemical data sheets (SDS)
  • Proof of insurance & FAA certification
  • Detailed invoices for recordkeeping
Can you clean during business hours or after hours?

We work around your schedule to minimize disruption. Drone cleaning is much quieter and quicker than traditional methods, making daytime cleaning often feasible. For sensitive facilities, we can clean after hours or on weekends.

Do you provide drone cleaning for homes?

Yes! While we focus on commercial work, we also offer premium residential drone cleaning services for:

  • Siding (vinyl, brick, stucco)
  • Roofs (asphalt, metal, flat)
  • Windows & trim
  • Gutters
  • Solar panels
  • Driveways & walkways
Is drone cleaning safe for residential roofs and windows?

Yes. Our drone systems apply the correct pressure and solution based on the surface type. Unlike traditional roof cleaners who may walk on shingles, our drones never touch your roof — eliminating the risk of damage.

How long does it take to clean a home?

Most residential jobs are completed in 1–3 hours, depending on the size and complexity of the home. You’ll receive a full before/after photo report.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

Not necessarily. As long as we have safe access to the exterior and no pets or people are in the cleaning zone, we can perform services while you’re away. We’ll confirm completion with images and follow-up.

What kind of drones do you use?

We use Lucid Drone Systems, the industry leader in drone exterior cleaning. These drones are built specifically for commercial cleaning, with advanced stabilization, intelligent nozzles, and safety sensors.

Are your drone pilots licensed?

Yes. All Drone Pro operators are FAA Part 107 certified and undergo additional training in drone safety, aerial cleaning, and jobsite risk mitigation.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes. Drone Pro Cleaning Solutions LLC is fully insured, bonded, and compliant with all local and federal regulations. We carry general liability and drone-specific insurance coverage.

What happens if weather interrupts the job?

Safety is our priority. If weather conditions (e.g. wind, rain, lightning) make it unsafe to fly, we will reschedule promptly at no additional cost.

How much does drone cleaning cost?

Pricing varies based on building size, number of stories, surface condition, and service type. However, drone cleaning is often 25–50% less expensive than traditional high-access cleaning methods. We provide free, no-obligation quotes for every project.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes — always. Just use our Get a Quote form or give us a call. We may ask for photos or schedule a site visit to provide the most accurate pricing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, ACH/bank transfer, and business checks. For commercial clients, we offer invoicing with Net 15 or Net 30 terms (upon approval).

Can I get a discount for recurring cleanings?

Yes. We offer multi-service discounts and bundled pricing for ongoing maintenance plans or multiple building contracts.
